How do people in Boston MA dress?

I'm going to visit Boston MA in a couple of days. I don't want to look too much like an outsider/tourist, so I'm wondering what locals dress like in order to emulate their style. SO...what should I pack? T-shirts and jeans or professional clothing??? any tips will help :)
