Which is the best 78-84 Toyota pickup?

Look for the 22-R carburated engine.... 1000 years from now there will be what looks like rusty dirt, in the middle of which will be a Toyata 22-R engine. And if you put a little gas in it and hooked up a battery, it would start!! Do all the recommended checks you would when buying a used car. I had an 81 and the only problem I had was the oxygen sensor light would not turn off even after installing a new sensor. Oh well, I just put a piece of black tape over it went my merry way. Make sure it will p smog BEFORE you buy it--Stay away from salvage titles (especially in Ca!). Nothing is perfect, but if it's reliability you want, you can't do much better, at least in my experience...
