ECOLOGY-VEY: Will polar bears actually go extinct if we lose more pack ice?

If their environment gets smaller & smaller it will be able to support less & less bears.Many will die off from lack of food & they will stop reproducing also. Some may adapt to different environments but evolution takes time so the species at best would severely dwindle. Less bears will mean more seals & that will also have an impact on the environment.
