Getting a new puppy need help?

I have been thinking about getting a new Papillon puppy but I already have a Female Boxer. My boxer is almost 3 years old. But my boxer is very rowdy and hyper and i'm scared she might kill or hurt the puppy. I know my dog now won't purposely hurt the Papillon but she doesn't really know her own strength. What should I do if I get the Papillon?
