Has anyone here bough a fish only? I was thinking about doing this but want to know pros and cons. I wanted to

do this because I wanna get two fish that I cant get at the aquariums around here they are similar to larger ones I originally wanted but my equipment and vision is much better suited to these ones as they are smaller and way more docile
