People living on islands, help.?

I currently live in the USA, I love the ocean, and i love the nice warm weather. I am of puerto rican and german decent, and I've visited puerto rico before, I would LOVE to live there but I know the jobs are scarce , i speak english and i know basic spanish (just not fluent). i wuld like to live on an island for about 3 months, a place with decent prices, as in living and stuff, and a place that has available jobs because I plan on working while there. Puerto Rico is still an open option, if native puerto ricans can tell me where has the best jobs for english speakers (maybe san juan ?) thanks in advance . I also want personal experiences and if possible, natives .
