My boyfriend burnt my dogs whiskers off?

my boyfriend is a pathetic piece of sh*t and burnt my chihuahuas whiskers off. not all the way but they are short now. will they grow back? how long will it take? will he be ok? pissed does not begin to describe how I feel.
