Cut on opening of , may be infected...?

Because of its location, I can't really say whether or not it is secreting pus but the surrounding is inflamed and sore to the touch. I am on vacation and therefore can't go see a doc right away. I hear neosporin can kill yeast-killing bacteria and cause yeast infections so Im cautious about using it. What should I do?
