Ethics: Should a person's job be in accordance with his or her ideology?

If you ACTIVELY support animal rights groups, actively try to encourage other to go veg, then I think it is completely hypocritical to take the job and you lose all credibiltiy to both sides of the argument. If you do your own veggie thing and leave others to do whatever they want, that is, you're more pive about it, then I say a job is a job.
