Yearling filly with puffy front legs?

If they're warm, you need to cold hose her legs, 20 minutes at a time, 3 times or more per day, until the heat is gone. Heat = inflammation. If she's stalled, you can poultice and wrap her overnight, cold hose in the morning. If they are very puffy or swollen, you really ought to have the vet check it out. Regarding turnout: movement around a paddock is always (almost always) preferable to being stalled, as the natural pumping action of walking and trotting around helps the healing process in the legs (and feet).
