Why are democrats richer than republicans?

I looked for rich elite republicans, can't find them. most republicans are in the heartland: Wyoming, Montana, Kansas...farmers, woodworkers, small towns...hardly rich elitists like the liberals in the ultra wealthy Beverly Hills
