Espa�ol / Spanish - "trombola" "trombolla" "tombola" as a pet-name?

Hi, what does it mean when a hispanic guy calls a girl "trombola" I'm not sure if I'm spelling it right, but it sounds like it should be "trombola" or "trombolla" or "t�mbola" I searched the word "t�mbola" in the dictionary and it said it means chairity raffle, so that doesn't make sense to me as a pet name for a girl, and I thought for sure it had an "R" in it. If anyone knows what this word is and has any idea how it is used or what it means please let me know. Thanks.
